Melania is a troubled soul. Her death-time is clouded with unresolved feelings and lingering traumatic effects. Her death-days are spent surrounded by those who seem to know her well, and yet also not at all.

Why do these people feel so... familiar? And why do they believe they have her best interests at heart, when she can't even recall their names? The answer is there - the puzzle lays before her - but it's up to her to piece it all together.

The ghost from her past hides around every corner, determined to sink her into the deep seat of despair. Are these people here to help her, or only to prolong her suffering? It's up to you to get Melania through this, and to her ideal post-death life.

- 'Dreamstate' is an ambitious solo dev effort made for Spooktober 2025. 

- 'Dreamstate' has full voice acting and 3 possible endings, depending on your answers to six... strange questions throughout. 

- 'Dreamstate' is the sequel to our NaNoRenO 2025 visual novel 'Sleepwalker'. While it is not necessary, we recommend playing 'Sleepwalker' first to understand key plot points and character relationships. You don't have to do that though - we've given you an optional summary at the beginning of 'Dreamstate'!
