What a heartwrenching game... in the best way possible.
It didn't take long for me to realise how torn Tia was when talking to Bianca, it was heartbreaking as I heard her voice break as the conversation progressed. I thought the use of the zoom on the sprite really helped with the pacing of the story visually, as it emphasised the climax's that were really well written in the plot. It was so sad that it ended that way, I felt so sorry for them both.
The voice acting was superb, I really felt the pain of them both.
I really hope Bianca does get the smell the flowers in the Holy Garden and that she's at peace.
Excellent job.
Everything was SO GOOD? And to think it was solo-devved? I am literally in love with this game, be it the beautiful prose, the interesting conflict between the two sisters, the art or the immaculate voice acting that brought so much life to the story and to both Bianca and Tia??
The conclusion, in particular, moved me a lot. As a tragedy enjoyer, it really felt like the type of conclusion I really love, where everything is consumed, and the only thing remaining is... the pain, the sorrow of what is empty. Ultimately, I'd be curious to know more about the context of the story, as it seems clear there is something broader around it, but the game managed to beautifully convey its narrative without the need of more. Congrats on making this, and thank you for sharing it to the world!
Oh I'm crying! Thank you so much for playing and I'm so so glad you enjoyed it!! I was honestly a little nervous to post this one but your comment has absolutely made my week ❤️
